Freelance Contract Manager - EPC Oil & Gas (Paris-Based, Partial Remote)

Location: Paris, France (Hybrid - 2 days remote/week)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Freelance Mission

About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established international engineering company specializing in EPC projects for the oil and gas sector, particularly in LNG infrastructure. They are currently extending an LNG terminal and require an experienced Contract Manager to oversee multiple subcontracts and ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer 10+ contracts and subcontracts (various disciplines) for the LNG terminal extension project.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
  • Act as the main client-facing representative for contractual matters.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align contract execution with project goals.
  • Strong focus on contract management (not just legal review)-monitoring deliverables, deadlines, and commercial terms.
  • Handle claims, variations, and ensure proper documentation.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years in Contract Management within EPC Oil & Gas projects (LNG experience is a plus).
  • Proven track record in managing multiple subcontracts and client interfaces.
  • Strong project knowledge (not just legal expertise)-ability to understand technical & commercial project requirements.
  • Fluent French (mandatory) + professional English.
  • Available to start on short notice.
