As a Hardware Engineer in this organization, the individual will play an integral role in the hardware development team, contributing to the evolution and enhancement of base station hardware.

Responsibilities:

  1. Hardware Design and Development:
    • Contribute to the design and development of new base station features, utilizing extensive knowledge in RF Design (Standards knowledge, Antennas, Microwaves).
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications, covering Mechanical Packaging Design, digital pre-distortion, analog and digital radio design, high-power amplifiers, and 3G, 4G, 5G RRH technologies.
    • Participate in the hardware development lifecycle, from concept to prototyping, testing, and final product release.
    • Assist in the creation of schematics, PCB layouts, and BTS design artifacts, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  1. Innovation and Improvement:
    • Contribute to a culture of innovation within the hardware development team.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement in existing base station hardware and provide recommendations for enhanced performance and efficiency.
    • Support research and feasibility studies on new hardware technologies and components.
  1. Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deliverables.
    • Foster effective communication and knowledge sharing within the hardware development team.
    • Contribute to the seamless integration and interoperability of hardware and software components.

About you: The ideal candidate possesses valuable industry experience with extensive knowledge in RF Design (Standards knowledge, Antennas, Microwaves), Mechanical Packaging Design, digital pre-distortion, analog and digital radio design, high-power amplifiers, and 3G, 4G, 5G RRH. The candidate has hands-on involvement in radio equipment and base stations, demonstrating a passion for base stations and an understanding of RF policies in different countries. The candidate thrives in cross-functional environments, has a track record of leading hardware and engineering teams, and contributes a visionary perspective to the evolution of hardware solutions.
