Sr. Service Technician (Compressors)

The Sr. Service Technician functions as a representative of the Company and is accountable for addressing repairs, resolving issues, and conducting upkeep on the mechanical and electrical elements of compressed air system equipment located at client sites. This equipment encompasses compressed air dryers, various types of compressors (centrifugal, reciprocating, and rotary screw), and filter systems. These services are conducted directly at the client's location and are provided promptly as needed to ensure total customer contentment.

Salary: $55,000 - $80,000 + Overtime + Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Conducting equipment checks to preemptively diagnose and rectify issues with compressed air equipment before they manifest.
• Conducting both annual and semi-annual maintenance and testing on compressed air equipment.
• Programming and troubleshooting equipment controls based on microprocessors and PLC systems.
• Resolving technical issues initiated by customers.
• Demonstrating the ability to initiate and troubleshoot compressed air equipment.
• Being present at customer sites on a daily basis.
• Establishing and nurturing client relationships through regular visits.
• Serving as a technical resource for both internal and external customers.
• Collaborating with company sales representatives and management to enhance service and aftermarket business.
• Traveling to provide assistance to other company technicians as necessary.
• Promptly completing service reports and forwarding them to both the customer and the company's administrative team.
• Participating in Factory Training Sessions.

• Strong mechanical expertise and problem-solving skills

• Reliable and consistently punctual in fulfilling responsibilities
• Proficiency in computer usage and competence in managing service software
• Possession of necessary basic hand tools and an electrical meter is a mandatory requirement.
