The mission:

• Project planning and execution for Helicopter Emergency Medical Services equipment approval
• Categorisation of changes as minor or major and approval of minor modifications
• Development and approval of certification plans and compliance demonstration documents (e.g., qualification test reports, safety assessments)
• Communication with both suppliers and regulatory authorities
• Oversight of admission tests
• Guidance and consultation for the development department on airworthiness matters
• Participation in design reviews
• Active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives within the design organisation

Your profile:

• Possession of a mechanical engineering degree (ETH/FH/TS) or equivalent qualification
• Alternatively, a background as an aviation technician (FH) or similar vocational training
• Demonstrated professional experience in aviation product certification, with a preference for experience as a CVE (Certification Verification Engineer)
• Proficiency in EASA Part 21 regulations, Certification Specifications, Safety Assessment, and Equipment Qualification
• Familiarity with flight testing and safety management is a plus
• Strong commitment to high-quality work and a collaborative, problem-solving approach
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English, German skills are a bonus
