Project Manager - Geotechnics

Salary: 110 000 - 130 000CHF

Location: Bern

In your role as a project manager, you will be actively involved in captivating projects throughout the entire planning process. Your dedication to the planning and execution of civil engineering, building construction, fish migration systems, and hydraulic engineering projects ensures the delivery of impeccable structural planning solutions. Your area of expertise is within the extensive BKW Engineering network, a unified entity encompassing more than 30 thriving companies from Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.

Your responsibilities:

• Structural engineering (structural planning, foundation engineering, geotechnics).
• Detailed planning and implementation of the fish ladder and fish ladder systems.
• Hydraulic and power plant construction and maintenance.
• Support of the project management.
• Implementation of the project planning.

What you bring:

• Holder of a Dipl. civil engineer FH degree (potentially as a second educational pursuit following graduation as a draftsman EFZ).
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in planning civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in German at a C2 level, with proficiency in other languages considered advantageous.
• As a project engineer, you will autonomously undertake assigned tasks.
• You possess expertise in utilizing contemporary calculation tools (including statics and foundation engineering) as well as proficiency in CAD programs such as Autodesk-Revit and Civil 3D.
