Crane and Hoist Technician

We are seeking Industrial Crane & Hoist Technicians to join our team at our Columbus, OH location.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $45,000 - $70,000 + Overtime + Benefits

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform tasks at elevated heights.
• Collaborate closely with the service supervisor and/or service coordinator to reduce delays and minimize downtime.
• Uphold professionalism and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Maintain effective communication with both customers and office team members.
• Ensure tasks are completed in a self-directed and timely manner.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Foster positive customer relations while addressing concerns and answering inquiries.

Requirements

• Requires at least 2-3 years of experience in an industrial service technician role focused on maintenance.
• Completion of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical theory pertaining to power and controls.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Profound understanding of basic structural components.
• Familiarity with OSHA/ANSI standards.
• Capable of working effectively in both individual and team settings.
• Resourceful and adept at problem-solving to complete tasks.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Possesses a current and valid driver's license

Environment

• Adapt to different environments and working conditions as dictated by the specific assignment.
• Occasional overtime may be necessary.
• Tasks may involve working at elevated heights and occasionally lifting heavy objects.
• Activities may include walking, sitting, standing, bending, driving, reading, observing, listening, speaking, focusing, and communicating.
