The mission:

• Conduct sizing analyses during the preliminary phase of projects.
• Generate documentation for validation and certification purposes, including calculation files, test plans, and test reports.
• Ensure the structural integrity of the products assigned to you.
• Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of protocols in the design department.
• Collaborate with the design, methods, and testing teams, while adhering to established timelines and budgets.

Your profile:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or modelling is required. Relevant experience in the field may be considered in lieu of specific education requirements.
• You must have at least 5 years of experience in the calculation of aircraft cabin layout or aerostructures.
• Analytical calculation methods such as RDM, Bruhn, Niu, etc., for both metallic and composite materials.
• Working with Nastran calculation code, including linear and nonlinear analysis for both metallic and composite structures, and familiarity with FEMAP pre/post-processing tools.
• Integration of CAD and calculation, including basic knowledge of CATIA V5 and import/export processes.
• Understanding of airworthiness regulations and a strong commitment to safety practices.
• Fluency in English is mandatory for this position.
• The position is based near Toulouse, with occasional travel within France and abroad.
