Senior Cloud Platform Engineer - AWS, Lambda, AWS CDK, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, Remote, Germany

Great opportunity to join an exciting business with offices based in San Francisco and Munich, offering remote or hybrid work. This company has developed an autonomous robotic platform for indoor and greenhouse cultivation; helping to sustainably produce more optimal yields at a higher quality and at a lower cost.

The business are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer who can build a scalable and maintainable cloud infrastructure.

Tasks:

- Take full ownership of the cloud infrastructure

- Implement highly available and scalable cloud services for web applications and robotic systems

- Work closely with stakeholders, web developers, machine learning engineers and robotics engineers

- Ensure high performance and security standards

Requirements:

- You have strong experience working in cloud platform development (ideally 5 years +)

- Proficient in AWS; including experience in AWS CDK, Lambdas, AWS Elasticache/Redis, AWS Elasticbeanstalk etc... - -

- Ideally you are experienced in Docker and Kubernetes

- Strong experience in DevOps and in developing cloud native CI/CD workflows

- Knowledge of multiple languages including Python, JavaScript, TypeScript

- Ideally some technical leadership experience
