Job Title: Process Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description:

Our client, a prominent provider of agricultural and industrial biogas systems, is currently seeking a highly motivated Planning Engineer/Process Engineer to join their team. This opportunity involves supporting project planning, construction, and technical services. The selected candidate will play a vital role in project implementation, working closely with our client's subsidiary, a well-established supplier of processing and fermentation technology for waste disposal systems worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of mass and heat balances, as well as PIDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), for combined machines.
• Perform comprehensive dimensioning and design calculations for functional units and machines.
• Prepare detailed specifications for machinery and functional unit tendering.
• Collaborate in the execution of HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies and provide support for CE (Conformité Européene) management.
• Lead and oversee construction engineers, ensuring compliance with PID/2D and 3D drawings.
• Generate clear and concise functional descriptions and interlock matrices to automate combined machines.
• Provide expert technical support and consulting to purchasing departments, project management, sales, and commissioning.
• Compile and organize meticulous documentation for the overall combined machine.
• Assist in the successful implementation of commissioning tasks related to combined machinery.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Process, or Environmental Engineering.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical, process, or environmental engineering, with a preference for expertise in biological waste treatment, biogas, or anaerobic digestion.
• Display strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrate a results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Exhibit flexibility, resilience, and proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
• Additional language skills would be advantageous.
