Freelance PLC Programmer - Partial Remote - 12 Months

Client Location - Stuttgart

Remote work offering - 75%

Client Industry - Industrial Manufacturing

Contract Length - 12 months (Extension Possible)

Project focus:

  • The ideal candidate will oversee production lines and local control systems.
  • They will play a pivotal role in coordinating with vendors, ensuring technical clarity, and facilitating installations and on-site testing.
  • They will be responsible for the development and review of interface agreements, as well as the seamless transfer of relevant data to central IT applications.
  • A key aspect of the project involves maintaining and optimizing API production processes to ensure equipment uptime and reliability.

Key skills and Experience required:

  • Proficient understanding and experience with PLC systems and industrial communication/interfaces.
  • Specific expertise in PLC/HMI (with a preference for Siemens) and familiarity with Siemens Simatic 7 as well as experience with TiaPortal, SCADA and WinCC
  • Knowledge in Manufacturing, Production lines and interfacing with SAP EWM would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience as a lead on projects would be preferred.
