Capital Project Lead

I am currently supporting our big client from the finance environment. We are looking for an experienced Capital Project Lead with a strong Capital background, deep knowledge of how a Capital model works and project management skills to join the EMEA team. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a capital allocation process used by our client globally.

General information:

Start date: 03/23 or 04/23 (negotiable)

Duration: 6 months with an extension opportunity

Work amount: 100%

IR35 result: Outside

Daily rate: competitive (to be discussed)

Home Office: yes, possible

Responsibilities:

- Lead the definition, scoping and implementation of technical enhancements to the current modelling process to enable a robust allocation methodology and structure

- Collaborate with model developers and other actuaries on the team

- Develop and implement a comprehensive testing plan to ensure model mechanics and results are reliable and credible

- You will work with dedicated colleagues around the world in a collegial environment

Profile:

- At least 5 years of professional experience with strong technical knowledge of Capital modelling and a good understanding of how Capital models work

- Consistent track record of delivering projects

- Able to work both independently and in close collaboration with others

- Flexible and can work on multiple tasks in parallel

- Strong work ethic, self-starter, and ability to execute tasks

- Willingness to look at problems in new ways

- Excellent communication skills and desire to work with both actuaries and business managers

- Experience with R is a plus
