DevOps Engineer Mission Critical
I am currently looking for a DevOps Engineer Mission Critical for one of the largest Energy companies in the Netherlands. You will be managing and configuring applications. Good knowledge of Python is also a requirement. It is an on-premises environment with a bit of Azure thrown in.
What you will do
- You design, develop / configure the applications under your management (DEV) and also perform management tasks within the scrum team (OPS)
- You challenge the product owner on the functional and non-functional requirements and translate this into a solution direction, contribute to defining the Minimal Viable Product - such that the added value of the team is maximized.
- You identify opportunities for the development or optimization of products, services, processes or standards You develop improvement proposals and coordinate these with stakeholders outside your own team You ensure or supervise implementation.
- Draws up a technical design and coordinates this with the Techlead and architecture.
- Draws up a test strategy in which the minimum test types and test cases are indicated
- Proactively comes up with proposals to improve the availability and performance of the platforms and/or applications. Takes care of or supervises the implementation.
- Playing a prominent role in performing root cause analyses and actively pursuing the elimination of technical debt.
- You will participate in the 24/7 standby services.
Requested profile:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Azure
- Knowledge of Python
