Electrical Design

My client is seeking a talented and experienced Solar PV Engineer with expertise in utilizing EPLAN software to join our team. As a Solar PV Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, development, and implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems using EPLAN software.

Potential to travel to our multiple offices within Europe.

Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize EPLAN software to design, simulate, and optimize solar PV systems, including the layout, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, specifications, and technical data necessary for system design.
  3. Conduct feasibility studies and perform site assessments to evaluate the suitability of locations for solar PV installations.
  4. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and documentation required for the construction and installation of solar PV systems.
  5. Perform system performance analysis, energy yield calculations, and shading analysis to maximize the efficiency and output of solar PV systems.
  6. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international codes, standards, and regulations throughout the design and installation process.
  7. Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution, on-time delivery, and successful commissioning.
  8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in solar PV design and EPLAN software.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in designing and engineering solar PV systems, with a focus on utilizing EPLAN software.
  3. Strong proficiency in EPLAN software for electrical engineering and automation.
  4. Solid understanding of solar PV principles, system components, and design considerations.
  5. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing solar PV installations.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve design issues.
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  8. Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
