Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team in Heerbrugg. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing hardware-related software in C with a focus on sensor systems. You will also be responsible for creating software architecture and designing single and multi-microcontroller systems.

In this role, you will co-develop the test environment (unit, system and integration tests) for the highest possible level of test automation. Additionally, you will participate in peer reviews and collaborate and manage external software partners.

You will also interface between different internal disciplines such as computer vision, mechanics, production, etc. and document software and concepts.

The ideal candidate for this position will have very good knowledge of C, a college or university degree in the field of computer science or equivalent, and several years of professional experience as a software engineer. Experience with real-time and event-controlled systems is also required.

Knowledge in the field of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or electronics is an advantage, as well as very good knowledge of German or English, both spoken and written.
