Jira Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Jira Specialist to join a mechanical industry client. As a Jira Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Jira projects and workflows for teams, ensuring efficient project management and collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities

· Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, and custom fields to meet the needs of the organization

· Provide support and training to Jira users across the organization, including software developers, project managers, and business stakeholders

· Develop custom Jira plugins and integrations to streamline workflows and improve collaboration

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices for Jira usage

· Ensure the security, availability, and performance of Jira for the organization

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

· At least 3 years of experience as a Jira Specialist or Jira Administrator

· Excellent understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
