**Role and Responsibilities:**

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be a key player in our organization, taking on responsibilities that include:

- Independently managing and implementing demanding network projects

- Operating and evolving IP/MPLS and FTTH networks, along with associated network-related services

- Assisting project teams in setting up larger network projects

- Troubleshooting within the incident and support management process

- Planning, coordinating, and executing change and migration projects on our infrastructure as well as the customer-side infrastructure

- Participating in the 24/7 on-call rotation

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To excel in this role, you should possess the following abilities and qualifications:

- Solid foundational training in computer science/telecommunications

- Extensive experience in IP/MPLS, including LDP, ISIS, MP-BGP

- CCNP/CCIE level certification or comparable certification (e.g., at Nokia)

- A quick learner with a strong technical understanding

- Ideally, experience in automation, preferably with Ansible/Python

- Interest in ISP topics such as DWDM, MPLS, IP, Security Engineering, etc.

- Proficiency in German and English (specifically in the field)
