Senior Manager Web Development

My client is a leading household utility provider are looking to grow their Digital delivery development team to enhance the services they provide to millions on homes.

Requirements:

  • 10 or more years' experience, in the area of website management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams of 5-10 people
  • Experience with content management systems (ideally Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Certifications such as PMI PMP / PRINCE 2 or as a Scrum Master
  • Practical experience in the telecommunications or a new media segments are an advantage

Responsibilities:

- Technical and disciplinary managerial responsibility for a local expert team of full-stack developers

- Hold overall technical responsibility for the website

- Responsible for planning, prioritisation, coordination, implementation and delivery of new features for the website

- Responsible for driving and managing the deliverables of 3rd party service and technology vendors

- Responsible for development of digital tools and features

- Authority to make decisions on the productive system (Go/NoGo)

- Mainly responsible for ensuring optimal performance of the website

- Hold responsibility for local demand management for the CMS and coordination with the central business team

- Responsible for defining, introducing, optimising and monitoring processes within the team between local and non-local teams of the parent company (Liberty Global)

- Interaction with various other teams & fields of work, including but not limited to: User Experience, Content Creation, Web Analytics

- Responsible for the smooth workflow of deployments and supervision of the deployment process

Initiate and drive measures for improvement of the website (technical and regarding content)
