Senior/Staff Propulsion Engineer

Opportunity for a Staff Level Propulsion Engineer to make your mark in the exciting field of aerospace technology!

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to work alongside a team of talented engineers, focusing on thrust chamber assembly components/systems. As a Staff Level Propulsion Engineer, you will be involved in every stage of the process, from concept development to manufacturing and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of engineers to design, analyze (structural, thermal, fluid), manufacture, test, and manage projects related to thrust chamber assembly components/systems.
• Apply your strong engineering fundamentals in thermodynamics, thermal, structural, and fluid dynamics to optimize performance and ensure safety.
• Utilize your expertise in combustion devices and rocket engine development to contribute to the advancement of our cutting-edge technology.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Effectively communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of combustion devices, with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Strong engineering fundamentals in thermodynamics, thermal, structural, and fluid dynamics, with the ability to apply these principles to real-world challenges.
• Relevant experience in rocket engine development, including a deep understanding of propulsion systems and associated components.
• Proficiency in engineering design and analysis tools/software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced and ever-evolving industry.
• Effective project management abilities, with experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration and coordination within the team and across departments.
