Bid Manager - Space Sector

I'm working with a European space technology organisation that develops advanced satellite monitoring and space situational awareness solutions. They are seeking a Bid Manager to take ownership of proposal management for high-value opportunities. Only EU citizens will be considered.

What you'll do

You will coordinate the full bid lifecycle, combining technical understanding, project management, and commercial insight. Your role will connect engineering, sales, and programme teams to deliver proposals that win business and lay the foundation for successful project execution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluate tenders, interpret customer needs, and define response strategies
• Organise internal teams to deliver technically and commercially compelling proposals
• Support sales during negotiations and key account interactions
• Ensure smooth transition from bid to project delivery, capturing lessons learned
• Represent the organisation at conferences, client meetings, and industry events

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in engineering, ideally aerospace, space systems, or similar
• Around 10 years' experience in bid management, project management, or technical roles in the space sector
• Comfortable handling multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Strong communicator, able to bridge technical and commercial discussions
• Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)

• Paris or Toulouse
• Permanent contract
