We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to represent the Owner on a major laboratory facility build in Germany. The role focuses on managing general contractors and key subcontractors, ensuring all construction activities meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Owner's on-site representative, overseeing all construction works.
  • Manage and coordinate general contractors and subcontractors to deliver project milestones.
  • Monitor progress, quality, safety, and budget compliance.
  • Review and validate schedules, reports, and change requests.
  • Ensure adherence to German construction standards.
  • Lead site meetings and maintain alignment between design, construction, and client teams.
  • Support commissioning and project handover.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar.
  • 10+ years of experience, including client-side or owner's representative roles.
  • Proven experience in lab, pharma, or high-tech facility construction.
  • Strong understanding of German construction processes and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Proficient with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
