Schedule: Guaranteed 40-hour workweek | Local travel + occasional overnights
Our client, with over 30 years of experience supporting 6,000+ data centers and network infrastructure sites across 30 states, is seeking a Critical Facilities Electrician to join their growing team in the Virginia/Maryland region.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for the inspection, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of AC/DC electrical systems and inverters at mission-critical facilities. This is a client-facing role ideal for seasoned electricians with a background in telecoms or data center environments, looking for a less physically demanding position that still offers technical challenge and professional growth.
What We're Looking For
- Several years' experience in electrical testing and maintenance, ideally in data centers or telecoms
- Strong understanding of AC/DC systems and related test equipment
- Comfortable working in client environments
- Willingness to travel regionally, with occasional overnight stays
