Chief Technology Officer - AI UAV Defence Start-up - Europe / USA

Darwin Recruitment have partnered with one of the most exciting UAV Defence Start-ups in Europe.

They build products that enable crucial real-time intelligence, built around AI & Computer Vision technology.

Following $2m in pre-seed funding, they are now investing heavily in their technical teams.

They need a CTO to head up their AI and Software team, shaping the technical & product strategy and leading the team to success in the next step of their journey.

Previous experience in the Defence and/or Drone industry is preferred.

Experience of Interest:

• Proven Technical leader, ideally as a CTO previously but Tech Leads considered.
• Strong background in AI, ML & ideally Computer Vision, MLOps and Sensor Fusion.
• Understanding of Embedded systems, UAVs, Edge Computing and/or Real-time systems.
• Previous Start-up experience, ideally in the Defence and/or UAV industry.
• Ability to lead a small to medium size team (5-6 Engineers and growing).

This is a chance to join a reputable start-up and to shape AI products that are having a genuine real-world impact.

You can work from anywhere in Europe remotely, with travel expected across Europe and occasionally the US.

Pay depends on location and experience, however we're looking at a range from €100,000 - €150,000 + equity options available.
