Job Title: Commissioning Engineer (Electrical)
Location - Project-based / North America
Overview
We are seeking experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineers and junior-to-mid Mechanical Engineers to support commissioning delivery on complex industrial and mission-critical projects. These roles are execution-focused, with an emphasis on independent field performance, testing, inspection, and documentation. Limited commissioning management or consulting responsibilities may be available depending on project needs.
Priority Role: Electrical Commissioning Engineer (L3-L5)
Key Responsibilities

Execute electrical commissioning activities across medium and low voltage systems

Perform functional testing, inspection, and verification of electrical installations
-
Independently plan and execute commissioning tasks without constant oversight

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues during commissioning

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams during testing activities
-
Produce clear, accurate commissioning documentation and test reports
-
Participate in FATs, SATs, and site commissioning as required
-
Support site readiness and turnover activities
Required Qualifications
-
Strong L3-L5 electrical commissioning experience
-
Proven ability to operate independently in the field

Hands-on experience with electrical testing and inspection (not theory-only)

Solid understanding of commissioning processes and sequencing

Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with fixed deadlines
Nice-to-Have

Script writing or test procedure development

Experience leading or facilitating commissioning meetings

Exposure to mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects
