About the Role
We are looking for experienced Electrical Engineers to join a leading Data Center in Madrid Spain. This is a full-time onsite position, offered on an initial 12-month contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role. You will be responsible for the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems that ensure the resilience and efficiency of mission critical Data Center operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, commissioning, and operation of electrical systems in a Data Center environment.
- Manage electrical infrastructure, including PDUs, UPS, generators, switchgear, and backup power systems.
- Carry out site inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to maintain system performance and compliance.
- Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry standards.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues while minimizing downtime.
- Contribute to capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives for infrastructure resilience.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, UPS, generators, and backup systems.
- Fluent in English.
