Financial Controller

The client is an exciting Dutch scale up, at the forefront of the Energy transition movement, and after recent heavy funding, are now looking to build their central team.

The business is specifically in the Battery Energy Storage space, and are expanding their projects through the Netherlands and wider parts of Europe.

In this role, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting, including preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop financial models and provide strategic recommendations to support business decisions.
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Manage tax compliance, audits, and liaise with external auditors.
