As Head of Wind Development, you'll lead a talented team of project development professionals and play a key role in shaping the companies renewable strategy. From securing land and managing permits to steering complex stakeholder relationships, you'll turn ideas into impactful, sustainable projects that power a greener tomorrow.


What you'll do

  • Build, lead, and empower a team of wind project development experts.

  • Drive strategic alignment across the full wind project lifecycle - from concept to commissioning.

  • Oversee project identification, land acquisition, planning, and permitting processes.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners - landowners, municipalities, and authorities.

  • Support contract negotiations and land securing with the acquisition team.

  • Monitor project progress and adjust strategies to achieve key milestones and goals.


What you bring

  • A degree in geography, urban planning, engineering, business, or a related field - or equivalent vocational training with relevant experience.

  • Proven track record in renewable energy, ideally wind development.

  • Leadership experience and a passion for motivating and developing teams.

  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication in German and good command of English.

  • A proactive, resilient, and entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative spirit.
