Infrastructure engineer

If you are a infrastructure Engineer and you are looking for a new project, then I have a great opportunity either in Sweden or Switzerland.

The client is looking for a freelancer and also a permanent consultant

You will be based in Either Sweden or Switzerland

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations by maintaining the global IT infrastructure, collaborating with team members, and providing Tier 2 support to end users.
• Participate in infrastructure-related projects, working closely with stakeholders and other IT disciplines to design, implement, and maintain reliable software and systems aligned with business goals.
• Proactively safeguard IT systems, data, and users by staying current with global security developments and coordinating with internal security and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education or relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, with proficiency in several of the following areas:
• Microsoft Server operating systems & Active Directory and Network infrastructure
  • Microsoft 365 environment
  • SQL Server
  • Citrix systems
  • SharePoint
  • Virtualization technologies
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
