OSS Test Engineer - Network Automation
Location: Umhlanga, South Africa

Role Overview
We are seeking an Automation Solutions Test Engineer to support our client in the testing and validation of Network Automation solutions within an established automation framework. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Test network automation applications including service provisioning, OS upgrades, and service migration.
* Execute tests using existing testing catalogues (full applications or functional components).
* Create, maintain, and update testing catalogues as required.
* Document test results in a clear, structured format.
* Support end-to-end testing during IT-led development projects.
* Identify, analyse, and report issues clearly to developers and stakeholders.
Skills & Technical Environment
* Professional-level software development skills.
* Strong experience with Perl and Python.
* Experience with XML or XML-like programming languages.
* Basic understanding of networking concepts.
* Proven experience in testing and quality assurance.
* Nice to have: Stablenet (Infosim) know-how.
* Automation framework based on Stablenet (Infosim).
* Network vendors in scope: Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Nokia, RAD, Accedian, Ciena, Infinera, Fortinet.
