About the Role
I'm seeking an experienced Project Developer - BESS to support a business i've partnered with on the development of battery energy storage projects in Europe, with an initial focus on the German market. You will help take projects from early-stage market research through feasibility and stakeholder engagement to project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research potential suppliers, partners and service providers

  • Analyse market trends, competitors and industry standards

  • Support development of price, cost and revenue models for BESS

  • Develop energy storage projects and manage stakeholder relationships

  • Secure land rights and negotiate lease or purchase agreements

  • Monitor regulatory developments and grid requirements

  • Conduct techno-commercial and environmental feasibility studies

  • Provide progress reporting to management and investors

Your Profile

  • Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Business & Engineering

  • Strong data research and market analysis background

  • Understanding of energy storage systems

  • Experience with MS Office and Power BI

  • Fluent German and English

  • Willing to travel (~30%)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in solar or renewable energy

  • Familiarity with German power markets
