Pump Mechanic
Summary:
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of pumps used in industrial, commercial, or municipal systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, disassemble, and repair pumps, motors, and related components

Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
-
Align and balance rotating equipment

Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults
-
Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures
Requirements:

Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical maintenance
-
Experience with centrifugal, diaphragm, and submersible pumps
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of pump systems

Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
-
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations
