NB: For this position we are only considering candidates already located within Netherlands that are able to travel 3 days/week to the office in Amsterdam

The backend team handles multiple business areas including user management, billing integrations, AdsTech, and data infrastructure. You'll have end-to-end ownership: designing, building, deploying, and maintaining services using DevOps/GitOps principles.
What You'll Do:
- Build scalable, reliable backend systems and data-heavy services
- Optimize performance and observability
- Contribute to testing, CI/CD, and documentation
- Collaborate across the team on architecture and code reviews
What you need:
- Strong experience in Scala (cats, circe, fs2) and Python (pandas, numpy)
- Familiarity with SQL, OLAP DBs (e.g. ClickHouse), and data pipelines
- Comfortable with GitOps/DevOps workflows
- Architecture knowledge: Microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka
- Data affinity: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
