Role: Senior Consultant - Team Leader | USA Contracts

Location: Billericay (On site 5 days a week)

USA working hours: Mon - Thursday 12:00pm - 21:00pm & Friday 12:00pm - 19:00pm

Darwin Recruitment is a global STEM recruitment agency of 100+ staff, based in Billericay & Amsterdam.

In our Billericay office, we are expanding our existing US service offering with a senior contracts recruiter who wants to work alongside Alex - our associate Director - to play an important role in establishing our US contracts business, from the UK. This role will also offer a fast-track to a potential leadership role within the organisation.

With a successful US-focused business operating from the UK over the last 8+ years, we have a solid foundation to build upon. Our perm US business is performing very well, generating $1,000,000+ in NFI last year. Our European-focused contracts business is highly successful generating £1,600,00 new sales (& £1,900,00 in extension revenue) per year.

The goal of this role is to:

Short Term: 0-12 months

• Establish a customer base within the US within our technical verticals
• Increase job flow to the point of needing additional delivery resource
• Work alongside and cross-sell, into our permanent US teams customer base
• Fill the jobs within our existing USA contract customers

Mid Term: 12-24 months

• Develop runner book / contractor book to a position that enables further investment
• Begin to grow the team in terms of headcount
• Hire, train and grow consultants alongside our L&D team and onboarding program
• Start to contribute strategically to further growth and planning around the business unit.
• Longer term vision for the role to be discussed directly in the interview.
