Senior PCS7 Engineer

One of our long-term partners in Germany is expanding their automation team to meet the demand of ongoing and upcoming projects. Your experience with PCS7 will play a key role in standardizing software development while maintaining flexibility for customized, site-specific solutions.

We are looking for a freelancer who:

• Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or similar

• Has solid hands-on experience with Siemens PCS7 (ideally including Batch and/or CFC/SFC)

• Brings experience from sectors like Chemicals, Utilities, or Process Automation

• Is fluent in German or English

• Is open to hybrid or on-site project work

• Is communicative, detail-oriented, and collaborative

• Has valid EU work eligibility or a freelance setup in Germany

Responsibilities and interests:

• Developing and implementing PCS7 control solutions

• Supporting functional and technical software design documentation

• Participating in FAT/SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting

• Collaborating with process, electrical, and safety engineering teams

• Supporting long-term system improvements and standardization initiatives

• Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and end clients
