Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join a leading robotics company developing advanced UAV technologies. You will contribute to the design and optimization of flight control algorithms, integration of sensors, and real-time embedded software for drone platforms. The role involves both simulation and field testing, ensuring robust performance across hardware and software layers, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enable seamless swarm deployment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and optimize control algorithms and embedded flight software for drone platforms.
* Program in C++ and Python, managing real-time data from cameras, IMUs, and communications hardware.
* Integrate and fine-tune sensor libraries (GPS, IMU, optical sensors) into flight control loops.
* Conduct testing in simulation and real-world environments, debugging across hardware/software.
* Collaborate with systems, hardware, and product teams to ensure seamless swarm deployment.
Skills & Experience
* Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with background in real-time, embedded, or robotics systems.
* Experience in flight control, GNC (Guidance-Navigation-Control), or embedded software for UAVs, robotics, or aerospace.
* Hands-on experience with sensor integration, embedded debugging, and flight test validation.
* Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and collaborative software development workflows.
