We're looking for a hands-on Special Hazards Technician to inspect, service, and program clean agent and engineered fire suppression systems. Great opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
-
Program, start up, and commission fire alarm and special hazards systems
-
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm & special hazards systems
-
Perform acceptance testing on newly installed systems
-
Complete inspection reports and service work orders accurately
-
Interpret NFPA codes (70, 72, 2001), fire/building codes, and technical documents
-
Read and apply construction drawings, specifications, and system designs
-
Conduct system surveys and assist with equipment ordering
-
Coordinate work with electricians, project managers, and field teams
-
Supervise or assist helper/apprentice technicians as needed
Requirements
-
High School Diploma + 2 years of related experience
-
NICET certification preferred
-
Valid driver's license and clean MVR
-
Ability to work overtime/weekends when required
-
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
