UAV Robotics Engineer - The Hague

I've partnered with an exciting autonomous aerial systems start-up in the Netherlands that's scaling its engineering team to deliver advanced collaborative autonomy technology for defense and emergency-response missions.

They're hiring a UAV Robotics Engineer to help take autonomy algorithms from simulation to real-world flight.

It's a great opportunity to join at an early stage and play a large part in what they do and who they are. It is one of the most exciting start-ups to come out of the Netherlands.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Developing and testing autonomous flight algorithms
  • Building software from prototype to flight-ready product
  • Creating simulation environments for UAS validation
  • Deploying and testing algorithms on real fixed-wing UAS

Experience That Stands Out:

  • BSc or MSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or similar
  • 2+ years' experience in robotics, autonomy, or aerospace
  • Strong background in vehicle dynamics, control, and sensor fusion
  • Proficient in C++, Linux, and ROS2
  • EU and/or NATO citizenship

Nice to have: PX4/Ardupilot, Docker, GPU acceleration, hands-on drone integration

Salary: Circa €5,000-€6,500/month (potential flex based on experience) plus equity.
Location: The Hague, Netherlands (full-time onsite with some travel abroad)
