Service Monitor

Job description

As a All-round Service Technician, you are responsible for configuring and installing new batteries and chargers on-site at customers. You perform preventive maintenance on batteries and chargers, carry out inspections and certifications, and resolve malfunctions with the aim of preventing downtime in customers' daily operations. You also read out chargers to verify Energy Guarantee issues and provide support for stationary systems when installing charger stations or large (emergency) power supplies.

Tasks

• You perform preventive maintenance on batteries and chargers based on the service plan or service contract.
• You top up forklift batteries and/or charging stations and ensure batteries are kept clean.
• You independently repair and replace parts using various hand tools such as pliers, spanners and socket wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, steam cleaners and filling equipment.
• You are responsible for connecting, configuring, testing and commissioning batteries and chargers on-site at the customer.
• You carry out required measurements and tests to ensure repaired or replaced components function correctly.
• You perform necessary hardware and software updates so that the battery and/or charger operates properly again.
• You also carry out BMWT inspections on batteries and chargers.
• While performing your work, you comply with applicable procedures, regulations and standards regarding quality, health & safety, and environmental requirements, and you address colleagues when these are not followed.

Job requirements

• MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably a background in Electrical Engineering
• Experience working with electrical systems, preferably batteries and chargers
• Knowledge of charging and discharging technology for batteries and chargers (preferred)
• Driving licence
• VCA certification
• NEN-3140 certification (preferred)
• Forklift certificate (preferred)
• Fluent Dutch / Good English
