Your tasks
- Independent execution of construction procurement procedures including the creation, maintenance and optimization of tender documents, specifications and contract documents.
- Review of all documents for compliance with procurement law and ensuring compliance throughout the entire procurement process.
- Control and coordination of the entire procurement process - from needs assessment to bid evaluation and contract award.
- Conducting bidder and award negotiations as well as actively supporting contract negotiations with contractors.
- Ensuring transparent documentation, reporting, and digital process and document management.
- Development and maintenance of a robust database for general contractors and subcontractors / specialist companies.
- Professional advice to internal interfaces on procurement law, technical and procedural issues.
Your profile
- Completed studies in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification; alternatively, relevant technical or commercial training with corresponding professional experience.
- Several years of professional experience in procurement management with a focus on construction services in cost groups 300 and 400 (building in existing structures).
- Sound knowledge of procurement law (especially VOB/A, VOB/B, BGB) as well as practical application experience.
- Proficient use of MS Office as well as digital procurement and document management systems.
- A structured, analytical and independent work style paired with negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, high level of commitment and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Excellent German skills; good English skills are required.
