Vestas Installation technician

We are seeking motivated Installation Technicians to support the installation of Vestas onshore wind turbines. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in wind turbine installation, particularly with Vestas platforms. You will work as part of a site team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality turbine assembly and installation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the mechanical and electrical installation of onshore wind turbines

Support tower, nacelle, and blade installation activities

Perform basic commissioning tasks under supervision

Follow technical drawings, manuals, and method statements

Ensure all work is carried out in line with HSE standards and site procedures

Use specialist tools and equipment safely and effectively

Identify and report faults, defects, or installation issues

Maintain accurate documentation and installation records

Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and other technicians

Requirements

1-2 years of experience in wind turbine installation or a similar field role

Experience working with Vestas

Basic mechanical and/or electrical knowledge

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation

Strong awareness of health and safety practices

Comfortable working at height and in outdoor environments

Good teamwork and communication skills

Willingness to travel and stay on-site as required
